Coloma Convent Girls' School

Coloma C.G.S.

A Voluntary Aided Catholic School for Girls aged 11-18

Supporting Coloma

At Coloma we are very grateful for the immense support the school is given from a wide range of individuals and associations within the community. We are always mindful of the significant amount of time parents and old girls give to the school in so many ways and the tireless work of the Coloma Parents Association in raising funds to enable us to continue to expand the facilities we have available. We also value greatly the support and guidance given by the Daughters of Mary and Joseph and our own teaching staff who give tirelessly of their time to ensure students at Coloma have the maximum opportunity to develop and achieve.

Offers of Help

We are always receptive to any offer of help and if you feel you have a particular skill or time you might be able to provide we would welcome hearing from you. Please complete the Voluntary Help form found in our Forms and Downloads section on this site and e-mail it to

Voluntary Giving (Pass the Baton)

We have a voluntary giving scheme for parents - Pass the Baton - where we encourage monthly giving to the school to enable us to provide the vital “extras” which our statutory funding will not cover. You will find information on the scheme in our Forms and Downloads section on this site. If you’re not already a member of the scheme, please do consider joining.

If you are already a member, but are in a position to contribute more then please complete a new direct debit form, indicating that this is a ‘Revised Instruction’ at the top of the form and return to the school for the attention of Mrs C Holland - Finance.

Coloma Parents Association

We have a thriving Parents Association at Coloma who are always pleased to welcome new members and offers of help. Please visit the C.P.A page here for more information.

Sponsorship of the Winton House Performing Arts Centre

The Winton House Performing Arts Centre, blessed and opened by Archbishop Peter Smith on 1st April 2011, represents a considerable investment in facilities at Coloma. This would not have been possible without the generous support of the Winton House Educational Trust, the Trustees of the Daughters of Mary and Joseph and the many individuals in the Coloma family who have kindly sponsored the purchase and installation of resources including the retractable tiered seating and the magnificent new state of the art grand piano.

The ‘Sponsor a Seat’ campaign has helped raise some of the funds required to purchase and install tiered seating in the centre. Whilst many of the seats are now sponsored there is still an opportunity to sponsor a seat or indeed just make a general donation to the furnishing and maintenance of the centre.

Those of you with girls in the lower school will have the opportunity, if not already, to spend many enjoyable occasions in the auditorium over the coming years and your daughter’s will benefit enormously from the new facility.

Those of you with daughters further up the school, or indeed are old girls, have an opportunity to mark your daughter’s or your own time at Coloma.

We would be delighted if you as a friend of Coloma were able to contribute whatever amount is feasible for you. We thank you enormously for any help you can give. It is very much appreciated.

A donation form is available in our Forms and Downloads section of this site.
